SHIPPING YOUR ORDER
PRIORITY MAIL: We’ll ship your purchases by the fastest and cheapest method possible, which will usually be Priority Mail. Smaller and lighter-weight orders may be mailed First Class. UPS delivery can be arranged on request, but remember UPS cannot deliver packages to a P.O. box.
GUARANTEED RUSH DELIVERY: Unfortunately, we can’t guarantee last-minute on-time delivery. Neither the US Postal Service nor UPS will actually guarantee specific delivery dates, no matter what they seem to promise. If you have a deadline, call us during business hours or email us well in advance of the date you need it and we’ll do everything we can to get your order to you in time.
OUT-OF-USA: Contact us during business hours or via email for out-of-USA shipping charges on any orders.
LOST or DAMAGED ORDERS
MISSING PACKAGE? After we’ve sent a package, we’ll contact with the date we shipped it. From that time, do not wait more than 3 weeks to report a missing package. We will have a tracking number to help locate the package. If the US Post Office is involved, please check with your local Post Office before contacting us.
DAMAGED IN TRANSIT: If the package is obviously damaged, DO NOT ACCEPT IT. If you notice damage after opening package, save the box and all the packaging materials to show to the carrier, then return the merchandise in the same packaging so we can assess the damage. Griffin Dyeworks will exchange damaged goods only if you have filed a damage report with the carrier. Without this paperwork, we cannot replace a damaged item. Merchandise found to be in bad condition must be returned to us for exchange within 30 days of the date on the invoice. We cannot refund money on damaged goods, but will replace the item(s) or issue credit for other merchandise.
Do not return any package C.O.D.; it will be refused.
RETURNS and REFUNDS: Griffin Dyeworks and Fiber Arts’ liability is limited to refund, replacement or credit for the merchandise, if submitted within 30 days of date on invoice. Refunds by check or via PayPal. If we made the "misteak" we’ll pay for shipping. If there is no error but you just don’t like what you ordered and want to return it, you pay for shipping and insurance. Contact us first, before sending anything back.
PRODUCT PROBLEMS: If you have issues with anything you purchased from Griffin Dyeworks and Fiber Arts, we’ll find some way to make things right. Contact us as soon as anything is found to be defective or if something was delivered in error. We will promptly replace it or issue credit for something else. But you must tell us within 30 days. We will refund your money or credit the product value to another purchase. Please include the packing slip with your return.
UNUSED MERCHANDISE: You may return any unused merchandise within 30 days of invoice date if it is undamaged. If we can’t resell it, there will be no refund. We will exchange it or give you credit toward other merchandise. Be sure to pack everything for return shipment, including instructions, paperwork and the invoice. For your own protection, please insure the package.
INSURANCE: Griffin Dyeworks does not automatically insure your order and is not responsible for any loss or damage in shipping. Always add insurance if returning a package since we cannot accept a damaged package without it.
