I absolutely adore working with this cochineal. There's something very satisfying about squeezing the little bugs and getting such a rich color in the dyebath. And I've gotten colors ranging from bubble-gum pink to rich fuschia, and I've seen someone else get deep scarlet by using 4x the vinegar in the dye bath. I'm planning to try that next. Definitely worth purchasing.
