Our merchandise comes from many sources worldwide, which means that if people are shooting at each other, very few of them are interested in packing dyes to send to us. Natural hazards mean that floods or earthquakes in a far-away country will affect both price and availability of dyestuffs sold here. This beautiful old world is very fragile. Sometimes the manufacturer or processor may simply stop making that product, often without telling us. All of this makes for exciting times at Griffin Dyeworks! Occasionally, it may also mean a raise in our prices, which may require additional funds. (This is why it’s a good idea to check our site regularly!)
